Internet / World Wide Web

    The internet is a system where people can search for different web pages or networks. For computers, if someone is not connected to the internet, you may not be able to get service or connection. Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn invented the internet in 1980 so there could be communication between devices. Many years ago, the internet was used between two computers in different places where data was transferred by packet switching. This method separates data into smaller packets and then they get transferred. This is still used today, it is just a little different and faster due to all the advanced technological inventions. 


     The World Wide Web is where all the websites that people use are located. A man named Tim Berners-Lee created it in 1989 because he did not like the idea of having to log into specific computers to see the information they each had. He wanted to be able to access the information from any computer. When it was first created, it was used to exchange information between scientists and special institutes, but now, it is used for every single website that exists, for whatever people want to do. 


     The Internet and the World Wide Web are different, but they work together and need each other. The World Wide Web is where individuals can explore websites, and this requires the use of the Internet. Without the Internet, the Web would not be possible. 


     The first website was created on August 6, 1991. It was actually created by Tim Berners-Lee, where he explained his project and ways in which to use it successfully. This makes a lot of sense considering he created it, so obviously the first website was about the invention. The URL for the website is http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html and it is still up and running.

 My final product: My original image: Images I used: For this autoscopy project, I decided to create something that means a lot to me. My mother took this image of me driving one day, and I decided to use it to add the ocean in the window area. My goal was to make it seem as if I'm driving in the sea, and the sparkles at the top show how I am going somewhere nice and exciting. There is a light guiding me to my destination. The planet at the top of my head resembles how I always think about the universe and how interesting it is. I recently discovered that I am very into this topic, and I want to learn more about it. Finally, I added a rainbow at the bottom of my image to show that there can be different answers to your problems; that is why there are different colors in a rainbow. This means that people can see things differently, so only focus on what is best for you and take yourself there. Three Photoshop Videos

If you double-click the background, you can make it into a new one where you can edit it. You can make different groups of layers, which is pretty cool. You can click and drag an image into the screen and scale it how you want. If you hold control, you can change the angles of the picture. You can change the hues, which changes the colors, and there are many options. It is easy to add blur or pixels to the image you are working on. Vibrance and saturation are very different. If you do not want to make people seem orange, you can change the vibrance but not the saturation. Business Card Sketches

  These up here are my three sketches for possible business cards. It took me a little bit because I wanted to think of cool designs and not be boring. I like them because they are all different types of styles. The top one is more formal because it has less design, and it gets straight to the point. The second one has some lines and circles to add some design. Finally, the last one has some flowers which I think makes it look charming. Even though flowers can be a little overwhelming for professional things, I believe a couple of them or tiny ones would look fine.
