My Final Portfolio

 














Here is every page from my final portfolio. I chose pink bricks as my theme and used it on every page, so it looked neat. I did not want to write on top of the pink bricks with small letters, so I used gray backgrounds for what I typed so it is easier to read. I cannot believe I have accomplished it! I am so proud and happy because I have learned so many techniques during this class. Although it has been stressful at times, Professor Roundtree tried her hardest so we all understood what was happening. I wish the pandemic was not a thing so that we could be entirely in person for this class, but that is okay. I cannot wait to use my new skills for the rest of my life and in future jobs. This class was definitely not what I expected it to be, but I am happy that it surprised me.

 This is my final project: Here is the picture of myself for it: My inspiration:  I decided to do something regarding COVID-19 because it is a genuine issue in the world right now. Many people do not follow the rules, and this results in the pandemic lasting longer. If we all followed the rules, kept six feet apart, wore our masks indoors and even outdoors, and stayed home whenever necessary, our situation would be doing much better than what it actually is. People seem to have forgotten the reality of the world and are acting as if nothing matters anymore. I hope that my poster inspires people to "just wear it" because that is the least they can do. I think I did an excellent job because my propaganda looks like the picture my roommate took of me. I did the word "wear" in a different color, so it stands out. Here are my five mood boards:  Here are my five sketches for the possible logo:  I decided to go with the adventurous logo and here is how it turned out: I chose to create this logo for myself because I am a very adventurous person; I love traveling, exploring new places, trying new things, challenging myself, and taking risks. I always say to people that we only have one life, so why not try to do as many things as possible, at least even once. This summer, I learned how to surf for the first time, and I also caught my first fish. I was very proud of myself for accomplishing these new things, especially for learning how to surf. This is something I have wanted to do for years, so it was a dream come true. The logo I made for myself is of a surfboard in the middle of the ocean with some waves because I also really love the ocean and feel very connected to it. Business Card Sketches

  These up here are my three sketches for possible business cards. It took me a little bit because I wanted to think of cool designs and not be boring. I like them because they are all different types of styles. The top one is more formal because it has less design, and it gets straight to the point. The second one has some lines and circles to add some design. Finally, the last one has some flowers which I think makes it look charming. Even though flowers can be a little overwhelming for professional things, I believe a couple of them or tiny ones would look fine.
